Objective
This article helps you look up the localized SIP domain URIs and the Interconnect termination URIs for one of your SIP domains, so you can point your communications infrastructure at the geographic region closest to it.
Product
Programmable Voice
Environment
Twilio Console
User Account Permission/Role(s) Required
Your user needs permission to list trunks on the account. Without it, the console shows an access-required message instead of the networking information.
Procedure
- In the Twilio Console, select Communications in the left sidebar.
- Select Voice, then SIP domains.
- Select the Networking info tab. It opens on Localized SIP Domains URLs, which lists a Region and a Domain for each geographic region you can connect to directly.
- The URIs start with a yourdomain placeholder. To see them with your own domain filled in, select Add filters, enable the SIP Domain filter, then open it and choose one of your SIP domains.
- The table refreshes with your domain in place of the placeholder. Copy the URI for the region closest to your infrastructure.
- To see the Interconnect equivalents, select Interconnect IP Termination URLs. It lists Termination URIs by Region and URIs, followed by an earlier set of termination URIs. Your SIP Domain filter selection carries across.
- To go back to the placeholder view, select Add filters and turn the SIP Domain filter off again.
Additional Information
- You need at least one SIP domain on your account before the SIP Domain filter has anything to offer.
- The SIP Domain filter applies to the URI tables only. The IP Address Allowlist and Interconnect IP Address Allowlist views list fixed Twilio ranges, so they have no filter.
- The Networking info tab is also reachable under Communications in the left sidebar by selecting Elastic SIP Trunking, then Settings.
- For the IP ranges to open on your firewall, see the article on finding the Twilio IP address ranges to allowlist.
