How do I find Voice code samples and use case examples in the console?

Objective

This article helps you browse the ready-made Voice use cases and code samples that Twilio publishes, so you can start from a working example instead of building a flow from scratch.

Product

Programmable Voice

Environment

Twilio Console

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Communications in the left sidebar.
  2. Select Voice, then Overview.
  3. Scroll to the Use cases & Code samples section, titled Spark your next idea with a few of ours.
  4. Select a tab to browse samples for that category. The tabs are:
    • Popular — for example, Basic IVR (Interactive Voice Response), Voice Auto-Response, and Call Forwarding.
    • Alerts & Notifications — for example, Outbound Call Alerts and Broadcast Voice Notifications.
    • Marketing & promos — for example, Click-to-Call and Call Tracking.
    • Customer service — for example, Queued Callback and Voicemail and Warm Transfer.
    • Secure authentication — for example, Voice One-Time Passcode and Verify Voice Fallback.
  5. Select a card to open that sample. Each card lists the languages the sample is available in, such as PHP, Javascript, .Net, Go, or Python.
  6. To see everything Twilio publishes for Voice, select See all Voice code samples.

Additional Information

The Popular tab is selected when the page opens. Selecting a different tab replaces the cards below it, and the sample links open in a new browser tab.

This section is the same for every account type, so it is available whether you are on a trial or an upgraded account.
