Objective

This article shows you how to change an existing origination URI on an Elastic SIP Trunk — its SIP address, name, priority, weight, or whether calls are routed to it.

Product

Elastic SIP Trunking

Environment

Twilio Console

User Account Permission/Role(s) Required

Your role must include permission to update SIP trunks.

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Communications in the left sidebar.
  2. Select Voice, then Elastic SIP Trunking.
  3. On the SIP trunks tab, select the trunk, then open the Origination tab.
  4. In the Origination URIs table, open the Actions menu on the URI's row and select Edit.
  5. In the Edit origination URI panel, the fields are pre-filled with the current values. Update any of Origination SIP URI, Friendly name, Priority, Weight, or the Route calls to this URI setting.
  6. Select Save changes.
  7. An Origination URL updated. confirmation appears and the table shows the new values.
