How do I view my origination connection policies?

Objective

This article shows you where to find your origination connection policies and which trunks each one is attached to.

Product

Programmable Voice

Environment

Twilio Console

User Account Permission/Role(s) Required

Your role must include permission to list connection policies. Without it, the page shows an access-denied message instead of the list.

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Communications in the left sidebar.
  2. Select Voice, then Bring your own carrier.
  3. Select the Origination connection policies tab.
  4. Review the table columns:
    • Friendly Name — the policy name. Select it to open the policy's detail page.
    • Associated Trunks — the trunks currently routing to this policy, or a dash if none.
  5. Select a policy name to open its detail page, where you can rename it, delete it, and manage its origination targets.

Additional Information

  • If you have no policies yet, the tab shows No origination connection policies with an explanation that origination connection policies allow you to receive incoming traffic from Twilio to your communications infrastructure.
  • Trunk names in the Associated Trunks column link to the trunk, so you can jump straight from a policy to the trunks that use it.
  • Switch back to the Trunks tab at any time to return to your BYOC trunks.
