- Enter the same value in Retype new password.
- Select Change password.
- A Password updated confirmation appears with "The password has been updated successfully." and the panel closes.
Additional Information
- The new password must be at least 12 characters. A shorter value shows "New password must be at least 12 characters" and the panel stays open.
- The two fields must match. If they differ, Passwords must match appears and nothing is saved.
- Existing passwords are never displayed, you can only replace them.
- Select Cancel, or the close (X) control, to close the panel without changing the password.
- Update the SIP endpoint or client that authenticates with this username, otherwise its registrations and calls will start failing.
- If the update cannot be applied, Error updating password appears and the old password remains in effect.
