How do I create a Voice trust registration?

Objective

This article helps you start a registration for one of the Voice trust products, SHAKEN/STIR, Voice Integrity, Branded Calling, or CNAM, from the Voice trust and compliance page. These registrations manage caller identity, verification, and reputation, which helps prevent spam labelling and increases the chance that your calls are answered.

Product

Trust Hub

Environment

Twilio Console

User Account Permission/Role(s) Required

Your user needs permission to view the trust and compliance status of your phone numbers. Without it, the page shows an access-required message instead of the product cards.

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Communications in the left sidebar.
  2. Select Voice, then Trust & compliance.
  3. The page opens titled Voice trust compliance registrations and shows one card per product:
    • SHAKEN/STIR — verifies caller identity and ensures caller ID authenticity using encrypted digital signatures. For US phone numbers only.
    • Voice Integrity — lets you remediate spam labels on your phone numbers. These phone numbers are registered with analytic engines for select US carriers.
    • Branded Calling — brands your outbound calls with your business name, call reason, and logo. Available in US, UK, CA, and DE.
    • CNAM — Caller ID Name, which displays a business name on outbound calls to US landlines.
  4. On the card for the product you want, select Create new registration.
  5. Complete the registration form that opens, following the prompts for that product.

Additional Information

Each card also has a Documentation link, which opens Twilio's reference material for that product in a new browser tab. Read it before you start if you are unsure which product fits your use case.

Voice trust products are Trust Hub registrations, so once submitted they appear alongside your other compliance registrations. To check on a registration you have already submitted, see the article on viewing your Voice trust registrations.
