How do I delete an IP access control list?

Objective

This article helps you permanently remove an IP access control list you no longer need, together with all the IP address ranges it contains.

Product

Programmable Voice

Environment

Twilio Console

User Account Permission/Role(s) Required

Your user must have permission to delete Voice SIP IP access control lists on the account.

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Communications in the left sidebar.
  2. Select Voice, then SIP domains.
  3. Select the IP access control lists tab, then select the friendly name of the list you want to remove.
  4. Select Delete this list.
  5. In the Delete this list? confirmation, check the named list. The warning states that you are about to delete that access control list and that you cannot undo this action.
  6. Select Delete this list to confirm, or Cancel to keep it.
  7. An IP access control list deleted confirmation appears and you are returned to the IP access control lists page, where the list no longer appears.

Additional Information

  • Deletion cannot be undone, and it removes every IP address range in the list.
  • Before deleting, check the associated SIP domains and SIP trunks fields on the details page — any of them that relied on this list will no longer accept traffic from those addresses.
  • Selecting Cancel keeps you on the details page with the list intact.
