Objective
This article helps you list the call recordings on your account, search for one by its identifier, and narrow the list by when the recordings were created or whether deleted recordings are included.
Product
Programmable Voice
Environment
Twilio Console
User Account Permission/Role(s) Required
Your user needs permission to list recordings on the account. Without it, the console shows an access-required message instead of the list.
Procedure
- In the Twilio Console, select Monitor in the left sidebar.
- Select Logs, then Voice.
- Select the Call recordings tab. The Call recordings page lists your recordings with the columns Date, Source, Status, Duration, Recording, Call details, Date deleted, Track, and Channels.
- To find one specific recording, type its identifier into Search by Recording SID.
- To narrow the list instead, select Add filters and choose a filter category:
- Date & time range — filter by when the recording was created, using a start date and time and an end date and time.
- Deleted recordings — select Include deleted to show deleted recordings alongside the rest.
- Select the date in a row to open that recording's details. Select Call details in a row to open the log for the call the recording came from.
Additional Information
If nothing matches, the page shows No call recordings with the message Recordings created on your account will appear here.
The Date deleted column is only filled in for deleted recordings, so an empty cell there means the recording is still live. Deleted recordings only appear at all when Include deleted is selected.
A conference recording has no call behind it, so its Call details cell is empty.
Call recordings are available in more than one Twilio region. Use the region selector on the page to switch which region's recordings you are viewing.
