How do I look up an individual verification attempt in the Verify logs?

Objective

This article shows you where the Verify logs are in the Twilio Console and how to open a single verification record, so you can find out what happened to a specific verification a user reported as failing.

Product

Twilio Verify

Environment

Twilio Console

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Identity & security in the left sidebar.
  2. Select Verify, then Logs.
  3. The page opens with the heading Verify logs and lists the recent verification attempts on your account.
  4. Narrow the list down to the attempt you are investigating.
  5. Select the entry to open the record for that single verification attempt.

Additional Information

The Verify logs area also includes a fraud view of the verification records, for reviewing the attempts identified as suspicious.

For the aggregated picture, conversion rates and delivery performance across all your traffic, use the Verify Insights page instead of the logs.

Verify logs are also reachable from Monitor in the left sidebar, under Logs.
