How do I resend or revoke a pending user invitation?

Objective

This article helps you send an account invitation again when someone has not received or acted on it, or cancel an invitation you no longer want to stand.

Product

Twilio Console

Environment

Twilio Console

User Account Permission/Role(s) Required

An account role that allows you to resend and delete user invitations. With list-only access, the Resend Invite and Delete Invite actions appear but are disabled.

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Settings in the left sidebar.
  2. Under Account settings, select User management.
  3. Select the Invited users page.
  4. Open the actions menu at the end of the invitation's row.
  5. To send the invitation again, select Resend Invite, then select Resend invite in the Resend user invitation dialog. A confirmation appears: "You have resent a request to the user."
  6. To cancel the invitation, select Delete Invite, then select Delete in the Delete invitation dialog. A confirmation appears: "You have removed the request that was sent to the user."

Additional Information

  • You can also start either action from the invitation's detail panel: select View invite detail on the row, then use Resend invite or Revoke invite.
  • Revoking an invitation makes the emailed link unusable. Send a fresh invitation if you change your mind.
  • Select Cancel in either dialog to leave the invitation untouched.
