How do I see what changed in a single audit event?

Objective

This article shows you how to open the details for one audit event, so you can see exactly which properties changed, what the previous and updated values were, and who made the change.

Product

Twilio Console

Environment

Twilio Console

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Settings in the left sidebar.
  2. Under Account settings, select Audit events.
  3. Select the name of a report to open its events.
  4. In the events table, select the value in the Event SID column for the event you want to inspect.
  5. The Audit Event Details page opens. Under Event Information, review Actor, Actor SID, Description, Event Date, Event Type, Region, Resource SID, Resource Type, Sid, Source, and Source IP.
  6. Under Changes, review the Event Data Changes table. It lists each changed Property with its Previous Value and Updated Value.
  7. To go back to the list of events, use your browser's back control.

Additional Information

  • If the event did not record any property changes, the Changes section shows No changes recorded instead of a table.
  • Where a property had no value before or after the change, the table shows N/A for that side.
  • The event type is also shown as a label next to the page title, so you can confirm at a glance what kind of change you are looking at.
