How do I edit a language operator I created?

Objective

This article helps you refine one of your own language operators, its name, description, prompt, parameters, output format, training examples, or context capabilities, so you can improve its results without building a new operator.

Product

Conversation Intelligence

Environment

Twilio Console

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Orchestration in the left sidebar.
  2. Select Conversation Intelligence, then Language operators.
  3. Select the operator you want to change.
  4. Review its Operator details and Settings sections, which show its identifier, versions, name, description, prompt, parameters, output format, and training examples.
  5. Select Edit.
  6. Update the Instructions section, name, description, prompt, parameters, output format and schema, and training examples, and select Save.
  7. Update the Context section to change whether the operator may use Enterprise Knowledge or Conversation Memory, and select Save.
  8. A confirmation appears that the operator was updated, and the details page refreshes with your changes.

Additional Information

Only operators you created can be edited. Operators authored by Twilio show a Twilio badge and have no Edit action, build your own operator if you need different behavior.

The operator's Versions table on its details page shows each version and its status. Rules that pin this operator to a specific version keep using that version; rules set to Automatic follow its latest version.

Allowing a context capability here does not switch it on for any rule, you enable each piece of context when you create or edit a rule.
