How do I add Google Analytics to my hosted login pages?

Objective

This article shows you how to supply your Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager IDs so their scripts are injected into your Identity Management hosted login pages, letting you measure how users move through sign-in and sign-up.

Product

Identity Management

Environment

Twilio Console

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Identity & security in the left sidebar.
  2. Select Identity Management, then Analytics.
  3. Review the Analytics configuration section. Google Analytics ID and Google Tag Manager ID show Not configured until you set them.
  4. Select Edit.
  5. In the Configure Analytics panel, enter:
  6. Google Analytics ID — your GA4 measurement ID, for example G-ABC123XYZ.
  7. Google Tag Manager ID — your GTM container ID, for example GTM-ABC123.
  8. Select Save changes.
  9. A confirmation appears and the section shows your saved IDs.

To abandon your edits, select Discard changes.

Additional Information

The Google Analytics ID must match the pattern G-XXXXXXXXXX, and the Google Tag Manager ID must match GTM-XXXXXXX. Each can be up to 255 characters.

Both fields are optional, you can configure one without the other.

If the page reports that it cannot load your analytics configuration, reload it. If the problem persists, contact support.
