How do I create an Intelligence configuration?

Objective

This article helps you create an Intelligence configuration and attach it to the Conversation configurations whose conversations you want analyzed. The Intelligence configuration is the container for the rules that decide when language operators run and what happens to their results.

Product

Conversation Intelligence

Environment

Twilio Console

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Orchestration in the left sidebar.
  2. Select Conversation Intelligence, then Intelligence configurations.
  3. Select Create Intelligence configuration.
  4. Enter a Configuration name. This is required and can be up to 128 characters.
  5. Optionally enter a Configuration description. The description is internal only, it is not visible to agents or customers, and it does not change how language operators behave or how responses are generated.
  6. Under Attach Conversation configurations, select one or more Conversation configurations to associate with this Intelligence configuration. At least one is required, and you can change the selection later.
  7. Select Create to save. A confirmation appears and the new configuration is added to the list.

Additional Information

If you have no Conversation configurations yet, selecting Create Intelligence configuration takes you into the guided setup instead, which walks you through creating a Conversation configuration first. You can also select Go to Conversation Orchestrator to create a new configuration from within the form.

A new Intelligence configuration has no rules, so it is shown as No rules and will not analyze anything until you add at least one rule.
