How do I view a customer profile's traits?

Objective

This article helps you see the trait values Conversation Memory holds for one customer, such as their name, email address, and phone number, so you can check what your agents and applications will read back from the profile.

Product

Conversation Memory

Environment

Twilio Console

User Account Permission/Role(s) Required

Your role must allow reading a Conversation Memory customer profile and listing its traits.

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Data in the left sidebar.
  2. Select Conversation Memory, then Memory stores.
  3. Select the store, then open the Customer profiles tab.
  4. Select the profile you want to inspect.
  5. The profile opens on its Traits tab, titled with the customer's name and showing the profile ID in the page header.
  6. Review the trait fields and their values, for example email and phone.

Additional Information

  • The trait fields shown here are the ones configured for the memory store on its Traits tab. A trait with no value for this customer simply has nothing recorded yet.
  • The profile also has Identifiers, Conversation summaries, and Observations tabs for the rest of what Conversation Memory knows about the customer.
