How do I view observations for a customer profile?

Objective

This article helps you review the observations Conversation Memory has recorded about one customer, and open a single observation to see its full detail.

Product

Conversation Memory

Environment

Twilio Console

User Account Permission/Role(s) Required

Your role must allow reading a Conversation Memory customer profile and listing its observations.

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Data in the left sidebar.
  2. Select Conversation Memory, then Memory stores.
  3. Select the store, then open the Customer profiles tab.
  4. Select the profile you want to inspect.
  5. Open the Observations tab.
  6. Review the observations listed for the profile.
  7. Select an observation to open its detail view.

Additional Information

  • If no observations exist yet, the tab shows Waiting for observations. Observations are extracted from captured conversations, so they appear only once conversations reach the store with memory extraction enabled.
  • Each observation records the source it came from and when it occurred, which is useful when you are tracing where a piece of profile data originated.
