How do I manually sync a dataset in Conversation Memory?

Objective

This article helps you trigger an immediate sync for a CRM or warehouse mapping instead of waiting for its schedule, which is useful after you fix credentials or want the latest data in your profiles straight away.

Product

Conversation Memory

Environment

Twilio Console

User Account Permission/Role(s) Required

Your role must allow reading Conversation Memory memory stores and updating them.

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Data in the left sidebar.
  2. Select Conversation Memory, then Memory stores.
  3. Select the store, then open the Data sources tab and choose CRM or Warehouse.
  4. Find the mapping you want to refresh and select Manually sync dataset on its row.
  5. The button becomes unavailable while the request is submitted, and a Manual sync accepted for processing confirmation appears.
  6. The row's sync status changes to Pending or Running, and then to Success or Failed once the sync finishes.

Additional Information

  • A manual sync is available whatever the dataset's schedule is, so you can use it alongside an interval schedule as well as for a dataset set to sync manually only.
  • If the request cannot be accepted, an error message appears and the previous sync status is kept. Check the Syncs tab of the mapping for the failure detail.
