Product
Conversation Memory
Environment
Twilio Console
User Account Permission/Role(s) Required
Your role must allow reading Conversation Memory memory stores to open the page, and creating memory stores to run the setup wizard.
Procedure
- In the Twilio Console, select Data in the left sidebar.
- Select Conversation Memory, then Memory stores.
- Select the store you want to feed, then open the Data sources tab and choose Twilio communications data.
- Select Add a Conversations configuration. The Connect Conversation Orchestrator wizard opens.
- Work through the wizard steps: the conversation configuration itself, conversation lifecycle, the traffic to capture, memory extraction, voice traffic, and voice transcription.
- Complete the wizard. You are returned to the Twilio communications data page with the new configuration listed.
Additional Information
- Memory extraction is switched on by default in the wizard, so observations and summaries are extracted from the captured conversations. You can change this later by editing the configuration.
- Once a store is linked to a Conversations configuration, the store cannot be deleted until you remove it from those configurations.
- To manage the configuration in full, open it in Conversation Orchestrator using the Manage conversation configuration link in the configuration's edit panel.
