Environment
Twilio Console
Procedure
- In the Twilio Console, select Data in the left sidebar.
- Select Conversation Memory, then Data sources.
- Select the source, then open Event builder and either create a new rule from Signals or edit an existing rule from Event rules.
- Work through the wizard until you reach the Review step.
- Select Preview.
- Open the Complete rule matches tab and select Evaluate rule matches. The rule is run against the signals collected from your source.
- If the rule matches, select Preview event to open a dialog showing the event that would be emitted, including its name and payload.
- Close the dialog and select Save to save the rule, or go back and adjust the conditions.
Additional Information
- If nothing matches, the tab shows No signals matched this rule. Loosen the condition, or check the Signals page to confirm the activity you expect is actually arriving.
- The SigQL Query tab next to it shows the query your conditions produce, which is a quick way to confirm the rule is well formed before you evaluate it.
