Objective
This article shows you how to narrow Intelligent Alerts to a specific time window, subaccount, impact level, or error code, so you can focus on the alerts that matter for the traffic you are investigating.
Product
Programmable Messaging
Environment
Twilio Console
User Account Permission/Role(s) Required
Your user needs permission to list Intelligent Alerts events on the account.
Procedure
- In the Twilio Console, select Communications in the left sidebar.
- Select Messaging, then Messaging intelligence.
- Use the Date range filter at the top of the page to change the time window. Choose Past 7 days, Past 30 days, Past 90 days, or Custom range to set your own start and end. The summary cards, ranking cards, and alerts log all follow this selection.
- Use the Subaccount filter to scope the page to one subaccount. Start typing to match on either the subaccount's friendly name or its SID.
- In the Alerts log table, use the Impact filter to show only alerts at a given impact level, and the Issue Type filter to show only alerts for particular error codes.
- To search within the alerts log, enter a subaccount SID or an error code in the Search by subaccount SID or error code field.
- The summary, rankings, and alerts log update to reflect your selections. Clear a filter to widen the results again.
Additional Information
The search field accepts either a full subaccount SID or a 4- to 6-digit error code. Anything else shows the message "Invalid alerts log search" with the hint to enter a valid subaccount SID or an error code, and the table keeps showing your last valid results.
All dates and times are in UTC.
Selecting the alert count on a Top incidents or Top impacted subaccount entry applies that entry's impact, error code, and subaccount as filters for you, which is a quick way to jump from a ranking straight into the matching alerts.
The Date range and Subaccount filters stay visible even when nothing is selected, so clearing all filters keeps the default time window in place.
