How do I view a customer profile's identifiers?

Objective

This article helps you see which identifier values, such as phone numbers and email addresses, are attached to one customer profile. These are the values Conversation Memory uses to match incoming data to that customer.

Product

Conversation Memory

Environment

Twilio Console

User Account Permission/Role(s) Required

Your role must allow listing the identifiers on a Conversation Memory customer profile.

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Data in the left sidebar.
  2. Select Conversation Memory, then Memory stores.
  3. Select the store, then open the Customer profiles tab.
  4. Select the profile you want to inspect.
  5. Open the Identifiers tab.
  6. Review the identifier values recorded for the profile, for example the customer's phone number.

Additional Information

  • If a profile has more identifiers than you expect, it may be the result of a merge: when incoming data matches identifiers on two different profiles, Conversation Memory merges them into one.
  • Which values count as identifiers is controlled by the identity rules on the store's Identifiers tab.
