Objective
This article shows you how to permanently remove a custom domain from Fraud Risk Engine, for example when its verification failed, or when you're freeing up one of your three domain slots.
Product
Fraud Risk Engine
Environment
Twilio Console
User Account Permission/Role(s) Required
Your user needs permission to delete Fraud Risk Engine domains for this account. Without it, Delete domain is disabled and shows You do not have permission to delete this domain.
Procedure
- In the Twilio Console, select Identity & security in the left sidebar.
- Select Fraud Risk Engine, then Domains.
- Select the domain name to open its detail panel.
- Select Delete domain at the foot of the panel.
- In the Delete custom domain dialog, confirm you want to delete the domain.
- Select Delete. The domain is removed and the panel closes.
Additional Information
- Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
- Anything still loading the detection script from this domain stops being evaluated, so point your client configuration at another domain before deleting.
- The Twilio-provided default domain cannot be deleted, it has no detail panel and no delete action.
- Deleting a domain frees one of your three custom domain slots, so Add a domain becomes available again if you were at the cap.
- A domain whose status is Failed cannot be recovered, delete it and add it again.
