How do I view and filter my Fraud Risk Engine rules?

Objective

The Rules Management page is where you see every rule evaluating your traffic, both the ones Twilio manages and the ones you wrote. This article shows you how to read that list and narrow it down to the rules you care about.

Product

Fraud Risk Engine

Environment

Twilio Console

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Identity & security in the left sidebar.
  2. Select Fraud Risk Engine, then Rule Management.
  3. Review the table. Each row shows:
  4. Rule name & Description
  5. Rule origin, whether the rule came from Twilio or you created it
  6. Event types, the user events the rule applies to
  7. Intelligence source, the signals it evaluates
  8. Decision, the decision it returns when it triggers
  9. Status, Active or Deactivated, with when it last changed
  10. To narrow the list, enter a term in Search rules, or open the filters and set any of Rule origin, Event Type, Intelligence source, Decision, Status, Created, and Updated.
  11. Select a column header to sort by it, and use the page size control to show more rows at once.
  12. To act on one rule, open its actions menu and choose View & Manage or Clone & Customize.

Additional Information

  • Status defaults to Active, so deactivated rules are hidden until you change that filter to Deactivated or All.
  • Created and Updated are date-range filters, useful for reviewing what changed recently.
  • If nothing matches, the table shows No rules match your filters and suggests trying a different search term or adjusting your filters. With no rules at all, it shows No rules found.
  • View & Manage behaves differently by origin: your own rules open in an editable panel, and Twilio-managed rules open read-only with the option to clone them.
