Environment
Twilio Console
Procedure
- In the Twilio Console, select Data in the left sidebar.
- Select Conversation Memory, then Data sources.
- Select the source, then open Event builder and Signals.
- Find the signal you want to build on and select Create rule on its row. The Create event rule wizard opens.
- Enter the Event name, the name the event will be recorded under, for example
Product Viewed— then select Next. - On Triggering signals, define the condition: choose the Property to test, choose the comparison such as IS, enter the Value to match, and select Save.
- Select Next to reach the Review step.
- Select Preview to check the rule. The preview includes a SigQL Query tab showing the query your conditions produce, and a Complete rule matches tab for testing it against real signals.
- Select Save. An Event rule created successfully confirmation appears.
Additional Information
- You can add more than one condition to a rule by repeating step 6.
- Before saving, use Evaluate rule matches on the Complete rule matches tab to confirm the rule matches the activity you expect.
- A new rule appears on the source's Event rules page, where you can enable, disable, edit, or delete it.
