Objective
This article helps you connect a Snowflake data warehouse to a memory store, which is the first of the three steps needed before warehouse data can flow into your customer profiles.
Product
Conversation Memory
Environment
Twilio Console
User Account Permission/Role(s) Required
Your role must allow reading Conversation Memory memory stores.
Procedure
- In the Twilio Console, select Data in the left sidebar.
- Select Conversation Memory, then Memory stores.
- Select the store, then open the Data sources tab and choose Warehouse.
- Select New mapping. The Create warehouse mapping task list opens.
- Select Configure warehouse.
- On Select warehouse, choose New warehouse to connect a new one, or Existing warehouse to reuse one already saved on the account. Select Next.
- If you chose New warehouse, fill in the Add warehouse source step: enter a Name, Account ID, Warehouse, Database name, and Username, then upload your private key file. If you chose Existing warehouse, pick it from the dropdown on Choose existing warehouse.
- Select Next to reach the Review step and check the details you entered.
- Select Connect warehouse. You are returned to the Create warehouse mapping task list with the warehouse recorded, ready for you to configure a dataset.
Additional Information
- The Existing warehouse option only appears when your account already has at least one saved warehouse source.
- Warehouse sources are saved at the account level, so a warehouse connected here can be reused by other mappings and other memory stores.
- Connecting a warehouse is only step one. You then need to configure a dataset and map its columns to customer profile traits before data reaches your profiles.
