How do I delete an extraction strategy?

Objective

This article helps you permanently remove an extraction strategy, so Conversation Memory stops inferring its traits from your conversations.

Product

Conversation Memory

Environment

Twilio Console

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Data in the left sidebar.
  2. Select Conversation Memory, then Extraction strategies.
  3. Select the strategy you want to remove.
  4. Select Delete strategy.
  5. Read the confirmation, which warns that the strategy will be permanently deleted everywhere it is being used and that the action cannot be undone.
  6. Select Delete extraction strategy. An Extraction strategy deleted successfully confirmation appears and you are returned to the Extraction strategies list.

Additional Information

  • Deleting a strategy does not remove the trait fields it was writing to, or any trait values already inferred onto customer profiles. It only stops further inference.
  • If the deletion fails, a Failed to delete extraction strategy message appears and the strategy remains in the list.
