Objective
This article helps you define the SQL query Conversation Memory runs against your warehouse and how often it syncs the results. This is the second of the three steps in creating a warehouse mapping.
Product
Conversation Memory
Environment
Twilio Console
User Account Permission/Role(s) Required
Your role must allow reading Conversation Memory memory stores.
Procedure
- In the Twilio Console, select Data in the left sidebar.
- Select Conversation Memory, then Memory stores.
- Select the store, then open the Data sources tab and choose Warehouse.
- Select New mapping, then select Configure dataset in the Create warehouse mapping task list.
- On Configure dataset, choose New dataset, or Existing dataset to reuse one already saved on the account. Select Next.
- On Set sync schedule, enter a Name for the dataset and choose how it syncs: Manual to sync only when you trigger it, or Interval and then pick a frequency such as 3 hours. Select Next.
- On Define dataset, write the SQL query that selects the rows and columns you want, then enter the column that uniquely identifies each record in the record identifier field.
- Select Preview to run the query and check the sample rows returned, then select Next.
- On Review, check the dataset name, schedule, and query, then select Save dataset. You are returned to the task list with the dataset recorded, ready for you to add a mapping.
Additional Information
- The Existing dataset option only appears when your account already has at least one saved warehouse dataset.
- Datasets are saved at the account level, so a dataset configured here can be reused by other mappings.
- A dataset needs a name before you can move on from the sync schedule step.
- Configuring a dataset does not yet write anything to your profiles. Complete the Add a mapping step to map its columns to customer profile traits.
