Objective
If you started on Twilio as an individual and are now sending on behalf of a registered business, converting your primary compliance profile to a business profile unlocks the registrations that individuals cannot use, branded voice calls, US toll-free messaging, short codes, and alphanumeric sender IDs.
Product
Trust Hub
Environment
Twilio Console
Procedure
- In the Twilio Console, select Communications in the left sidebar.
- Select Trust Hub, then Profiles.
- Confirm the Primary compliance profile card shows the Individual pill and an approved status.
- Select Convert to a business profile.
- Complete the business profile form that opens, supplying the business details Twilio needs — Legal business name, Business identity, Business registration ID type and number, Business website URL, and the authorized representative's contact details.
- Submit the profile for review.
Additional Information
- The conversion option only appears on an approved individual profile. A draft, in-review, or rejected profile has to be resolved first.
- If the conversion cannot be started, a Conversion failed message appears telling you there was an error converting your individual profile to a business profile and to try again.
- Converting does not delete your existing registrations, but your business details still have to pass review before business-only registrations become available.
