How do I change the sync schedule or query for a warehouse dataset?

Objective

This article helps you edit an existing warehouse dataset, its name, how often it syncs, and the SQL query it runs, without rebuilding the whole mapping.

Product

Conversation Memory

Environment

Twilio Console

User Account Permission/Role(s) Required

Your role must allow reading Conversation Memory memory stores and updating them.

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Data in the left sidebar.
  2. Select Conversation Memory, then Memory stores.
  3. Select the store, then open the Data sources tab and choose Warehouse.
  4. Select the mapping that uses the dataset, then open the Settings tab of its detail panel.
  5. Under Dataset settings, select Edit dataset settings. The Edit dataset page opens on Set sync schedule with the current Name and schedule filled in.
  6. Change the name, or switch between Manual and Interval and adjust the frequency, then select Next.
  7. On Define dataset, update the SQL query.
  8. Select Preview to run the updated query and check the sample rows, and Reload preview if you change the query again.
  9. Select Save. You are returned to the Warehouse mappings page.

Additional Information

  • The dataset needs a name, clearing it prevents you from moving past the sync schedule step.
  • Datasets are saved at the account level, so a change here affects every mapping that uses the same dataset.
  • If your new query returns different columns, use Edit mapping afterwards to map them to customer profile traits.
