Objective
Regulatory compliance registrations expire. Starting an update in good time keeps the registration valid and protects the phone numbers assigned to it from being reclaimed.

Procedure
- In the Twilio Console, select Communications in the left sidebar.
- Select Trust Hub, then Registrations.
- Select Regulatory compliance. If any registrations are due to expire, select View expiring registrations to list them.
- Open the registration that needs updating. When it requires an update, a prompt headed appears, explaining that the registration is expiring and needs to be updated, and that if it is not updated and approved by the stated date it will be rejected and phone numbers assigned to it are at risk of being reclaimed.
- Select Start registration update.
- Complete the updated registration, refresh any details that have changed and re-upload documents where the country requires current ones, then submit it for review.
- Track the update's status on the registration until it is approved.
Additional Information
- The update is handled as a copy of the existing registration, so your current registration stays in force while the update is in review. The copy has no SID of its own until it is approved.
- While an update is in progress you will see its status as Draft, Pending review, or In review; a Provisionally approved status means numbers can be provisioned against it while final approval is pending.
- If you have already started an update, the prompt does not reappear, continue with the update already in progress instead.
