Objective
A registration only affects the numbers attached to it. Assign your phone numbers to a compliance profile or registration so they pick up its benefits, SHAKEN/STIR attestation, a CNAM display name, Voice Integrity protection, or branded calling.

Procedure
- In the Twilio Console, select Communications in the left sidebar.
- Select Trust Hub, then either Profiles or Registrations.
- Open the compliance profile or registration you want to assign numbers to.
- Select the Assigned phone numbers tab. The numbers already attached are listed there.
- Select + Add phone numbers.
- In the panel that opens, find the numbers you want. Use the search box to search by phone number or friendly name, then select the ones to assign.
- Confirm the assignment. A message tells you the phone number, or numbers, have been successfully assigned to the registration, and they appear in the Assigned phone numbers list.
Additional Information
- Only numbers eligible for that registration are offered. For a Basic branded calling registration, for example, the numbers available are the ones already assigned to its parent Voice Integrity registration.
- If no numbers are available, the panel explains that you need to purchase new numbers or assign existing ones to the connected compliance profile, and offers a link to buy a number.
- Assigning a number to a CNAM registration makes outbound calls from it display your chosen caller name; assigning to a SHAKEN/STIR registration authenticates and verifies its outbound calls.
- For an A2P 10DLC Campaign, senders come from its Messaging Service, so the tab also offers Add numbers to messaging service.
