Objective
Use a secondary compliance profile when you need to register a distinct business entity, a separate brand or sub-entity related to your primary business, so each entity can carry its own compliance registrations under one account.

Procedure
- In the Twilio Console, select Communications in the left sidebar.
- Select Trust Hub, then Profiles.
- Open the Secondary profiles section.
- Select Create secondary profile. If you have no secondary profiles yet, the Manage more brands or business entities card offers Create a Secondary Profile instead.
- Complete the profile form for the entity you are registering, then submit it for review.
- The new profile appears in the Secondary profiles table with a Status of Draft until you submit it, then In review.
Additional Information
- You must have a primary compliance profile registered to a business before secondary profiles become available. Until then the page shows Secondary compliance profiles unavailable with the message to create a primary profile for a business to use secondary profiles.
- On a subaccount, the primary profile has to exist and be approved at the account level before secondary profiles can be created.
- If your primary compliance profile is rejected after having been approved, an error message appears saying your primary compliance profile has been rejected and that you must fix errors on your primary profile before secondary profiles can be created or edited. Create secondary profile is disabled until that is resolved, and View Primary Compliance Profile takes you there.
- Select Learn more about secondary profiles for an explanation of when a secondary profile is the right choice.
