How do I find out why my toll-free registration was rejected?

Objective

A rejected toll-free registration lists the exact reasons it failed review, with error codes. Read them, correct the submission, and resubmit so the number can start sending.

Product

Trust Hub

Environment

Twilio Console

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Communications in the left sidebar.
  2. Select Trust Hub, then Registrations.
  3. Select Toll-free and open the registration whose status is Rejected. You can use the Status filter to show only rejected registrations.
  4. At the top of the details page, read the panel headed Fix the following errors before resubmitting your toll-free registration:. Each rejection reason is shown with its Error Code.
  5. Select Edit & resubmit to reopen the registration form.
  6. Update the details the rejection reasons point to, commonly the use case description, the production message sample, or the opt-in evidence, then submit the registration again.

Additional Information

  • The registration keeps all its previously submitted values, so you only need to change what was rejected.
  • Rejected toll-free registrations also appear in the Open compliance tasks table on Trust Hub › Overview, labelled with their phone number.
  • A rejected registration can be deleted from its actions menu if you no longer want to pursue it.
