Procedure
- In the Twilio Console, select the Trial badge in the account status area at the top of the page, then select Upgrade.
- Select Upgrade account, complete the Your account and tax details and Starting balance and auto-recharge steps, then select Next.
- On Add payment details, check the STARTING BALANCE amount shown at the top of the step. If you used a promo code, this reads PROMO CODE / Applied instead.
- Under Payment details, enter your card details. The billing address is pre-filled from the tax address you entered earlier, change it here if your card uses a different billing address.
- Select Upgrade to submit the payment.
- If your bank asks for additional authentication, an authentication window opens. Complete the challenge to continue.
- Review the Order summary on the Upgrade complete page and select Finish.
Additional Information
- If the payment fails, the step shows an Upgrade failed message with the reason. Correct the details or use a different card and select Upgrade again.
- If the card does not allow auto-recharge payments, the step shows Card could not be charged and asks you to enter details for a different card. You can also go Back and turn auto-recharge off.
- If you close or cancel the bank authentication window, the payment is not completed and you can try again.
- Selecting Back from this step returns you to the balance step without charging your card.
- The upgrade can be paused for a compliance review at this point.
