How do I download the inputs or results of a bulk subaccount action?

Objective

This article shows you how to download the list of subaccounts you submitted with a bulk action, and, once the job has finished, the per-subaccount outcome, so you can confirm what was changed and follow up on anything that did not succeed.

Product

Twilio Console

Environment

Twilio Console

User Account Permission/Role(s) Required

Permission to manage subaccounts on the main account. Without it, the page shows Access is required instead of the list.

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Settings in the left sidebar.
  2. Under Account settings, select Subaccount management.
  3. Select the Bulk actions tab.
  4. Find the job you are interested in, filtering by Action Type, Status, or Date Range if the list is long.
  5. Select the row menu at the end of that job's row.
  6. Choose what you need:
  7. Download inputs, the list of subaccount SIDs that were submitted with the job.
  8. Download results, the outcome for each subaccount. This option is offered only once the job's Status is Completed.
  9. The file downloads to your browser.

Additional Information

  • Downloads are only available for a limited period. If the file has aged out you see a message such as Batch inputs have expired. or Batch results have expired.
  • If the download cannot be prepared, you see Failed to fetch download URL: no download URL returned. Reload the page and try again.
  • Download results is not shown on a job that is still Scheduled or Processing, only the inputs are available until the job completes.
