How do I manage destination countries for my RCS sender?

Objective

This article shows you where to see which countries your RCS sender is registered to send into, and how to remove a country from that registration.

Product

Programmable Messaging

Environment

Twilio Console

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Communications in the left sidebar.
  2. Select Numbers & senders, then Overview.
  3. Select RCS.
  4. Select the sender's display name, or select the actions menu on its row and choose View sender details.
  5. Select Destination countries.
  6. The table lists each Country with its Sender status.
  7. To remove a country, select the remove action on its row.
  8. The Remove … from registration? confirmation appears. Select Remove to confirm, or Cancel to back out.
  9. A confirmation message appears telling you the country was removed from the RCS Sender registration.
  10. To register additional countries, select Add countries and choose them in the Add destination countries panel.

Additional Information

Your RCS sender must be registered to at least one country, so you cannot remove the last remaining country.

Each country you add needs carrier review, verification and approval before you can send messages to it in production.

If the country list cannot be loaded, the panel shows Failed to load countries and asks you to try again or contact support if the problem persists.

If a removal fails, a message appears: Failed to remove destination country. Please try again.
