How do I create a Twimlet?

Objective

This article shows you how to start creating a Twimlet from the Twilio Console, so you can handle a common call-flow task without writing and hosting TwiML yourself.

Product

Twimlets

Environment

Twilio Console

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Builder tools in the left sidebar.
  2. Select TwiML host & config, then Twimlets.
  3. Select My Twimlets to open the list of Twimlets on your account.
  4. Start a new Twimlet from the list page, then complete the configuration form and save it.
  5. The new Twimlet appears in My Twimlets, where you can select it to open its Details.

Additional Information

Once a Twimlet is saved, use its details page to get the address you point a phone number or application at.
