Issue
When trying to access the SendGrid UI from the Twilio Console, users (administrators or teammates) might get the error "You are not authorized to access this account. Please contact your administrator or support for help."
Product
Twilio SendGrid (Email)
Environment
SendGrid Console
Cause
There is an Compliance status enforced on the SendGrid product specifically. The possible statuses are: Suspension, Banning or Deactivation.
Resolution
If you are the primary administrator of the account, please look for a ticket or email with the subject "Twilio SendGrid Account Suspension Notice" or "Twilio SendGrid Account Closure Notice”, sent by the Onboarding and Compliance Support team and reply to it.
Depending on the case, the email notification might include questions about the used intended for your account, steps to secure the account or a notification informing that the account could not be activated. In the first two cases, please reply with the requested information or confirming that you have secured your account. In the third case, please reply requesting a second account review and reactivation.
If you are a teammate, please reach out to the primary account administrator and ask that person to follow the steps above. Teammates will not be able to access the SendGrid UI until the Compliance status is removed from the SendGrid product.
