Studio Flow Revisions: View, Revert, and Publish in New Twilio Studio Canvas

Objective

In this guide you will learn how to View, Revert and Publish a Studio Flow Revision in the new Twilio Studio Canvas.

Product

Twilio Studio

Environment

Twilio Console

Procedure

View a Studio Flow Revision

  • Navigate to the Studio Dashboard in the Twilio Console by going to Products & Services > Studio > Flows.
  • Select the Studio Flow you want to view; you will be taken to the EDITOR tab.
  • Click on the REVISION HISTORY tab.
  • Click any Revision number to view that version of your Studio flow.

Revert a Studio Flow Revision

  • To restore a previous version, click the ‘Revert to this Revision’ button.
    • Only previous revisions will show the “Revert to this Revision” button. The current revision (the latest version) will not display the “Revert to this Revision” button.
    • Clicking ‘Revert to this Revision’ will update your current version to the selected revision.
    • If you revert to a previous revision, it becomes a draft and is not automatically published. To publish, please refer to the section below.
  • Each revision is marked as either 'Draft' or 'Published', and you can revert to any revision regardless of its status.

Publish a Studio Flow Revision (Current Revision)

  • Navigate to the EDITOR  tab for your Studio Flow; your Current Revision (current version) should be visible on the Studio Canvas.
  • The Publish button should be visible in the Editor. Click this button to publish your flow.
  • Note: The option to Revert and Publish directly from the Revision History is no longer available in the new Studio Canvas. Publishing must always be done from the Editor tab.

Additional Information

  • If you do not see the “Publish” button in the Editor, ensure you are not in the Revision History tab.
  • If the button is still missing in the Editor, try clearing your browser cache, disabling browser extensions, or using a different browser to rule out local issues.
