The Authy App is Showing the Wrong Logo for my Verify TOTP

The iOS and Android Authy apps use Google Image Search to find the logo associated with your issuer name. For Verify TOTP, the issuer name is set in your Verify Service with parameter Totp.Issuer

To change the logo displayed in the Authy app for your TOTP, you can try different variations of your TOTP issuer.

You can change your TOTP issuer through the API

curl -X POST "https://verify.twilio.com/v2/Services/VAXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX" \
--data-urlencode "Totp.Issuer=My Brand Name" \
-u $TWILIO_ACCOUNT_SID:$TWILIO_AUTH_TOKEN

or navigating to the Twilio Console

  1. Access the Verify Services page in Console.
  2. Click the Service you wish to edit.
  3. From the "TOTP" tab, update the Issuer (TOTP friendly name) field as desired.
  4. When finished, scroll to the bottom of the page, and then click Save.

Escalation

If changing the issuer doesn't help change the logo displayed within the Authy app, please contact our Twilio Support Team, and include the URL (from the public internet) of an image file for your logo. Acceptable file formats include .ico, .jpg, .jpeg, or .png.
