A2P 10DLC Campaign Vetting Delays: Twilio cannot approve 10DLC Campaigns ourselves, and must rely on third parties who control our connections to carriers to sign off. These external processes are creating several week delays for our customers. We continue to escalate these issues and are working to reduce delays wherever possible. Further details will be shared in the Campaign Vetting Changes article as they become available.

Error 60605 "Verification delivery attempt blocked"

When a destination country is blocked in the Verify Geographic Permissions settings on your account, any start verification requests you send to users in that country will fail. Your API requests will return Error 60605, with the following message:

The destination phone number has been blocked by Verify Geo-Permissions".

If you consider this country safe for sending, follow the steps below to enable it as a verify destination. Please note, you can disable/enable a country and channel at any time to keep your service protected.

  1. Access the Verify Geographic permissions page in Console.Verify Geographic Permissions
  2. Search for the country you want to enable as a destination, and then click the desired channel checkbox to enable.
    • If the country is enabled on Twilio console, and you are still seeing Error 60605, please let our Support team know. Our Support team can review the Geo-permissions on the Verify service level and enable the country on the Verify service if needed.
  3. Click Save.
