Overview

The Usage page in the Twilio Console allows you to review your Twilio billing groups, accounts and subaccounts usage and spend history. This guide explains how to find and get started with the Usage page.

What You Need To Know

Twilio’s Usage page can be found in Console using the following methods:

Billing Group:

• Access the usage page via the left navigation bar, click billing & usage and select billing.
• It will take you to the billing group overview page, click on the usage tab.
• You will be sent to the billing groups usage page.
• You can also Access the usage page via the left navigation bar, click billing & usage and select account usage.
• Click Go to billing group overview.

Account:

• Access the usage page via the left navigation bar, click billing & usage and then select account usage.
• You will be sent to the usage page.

Usage Summary

• Billing Group: The Usage Summary is an aggregated view of usage for all accounts in the Billing Group. It provides a breakdown of estimated usage by product for a selected month, with the option to include or exclude accounts. Usage data is refreshed regularly, and the page displays the timestamp of the most recent update for added transparency.
• Account: The Usage Summary page provides a breakdown of estimated usage by product for a selected month, with the option to include or exclude your account’s subaccounts. Usage data is refreshed regularly, and the page displays the timestamp of the most recent update for added transparency.

Select the month to view

The Usage Summary page displays the current month's usage by default. To view an alternate month, click the drop-down menu, and then select the desired month. Please note, the Usage Summary page can only display usage for a single month at once. There is currently no option to view a usage report for multiple months, or a total year summary.

Expand usage details

Click the right arrow icon to expand the usage details. Once expanded, you can see usage split across product lines with details on the quantity, respective units, and costs associated with each group. Click additional arrow icons to expand products further, and see how charges were billed under each product line.

Subaccount usage:

• Access the usage page via the left navigation bar, click billing & usage and then select account usage.
• You will be sent to the usage page, select by subaccounts and click on the subaccount name.
• You will be redirected to the subaccount usage page.
