When attempting Campaign registration in the A2P 10DLC registration process, you may encounter an error similar to: "Brand BUxxxxxxx is not qualified to run (CAMPAIGN_TYPE) Campaign for AT&T."
This error is uncommon, but there are a couple of known causes for this error. Twilio is working to make these messages clearer and reduce the likelihood of these errors. To aid in troubleshooting, the likely causes of this error are documented below.
Possible causes:
- Your Brand could not be fully verified
- 501(c)(3) organization attempting Standard Campaign registration
- Extremely low Trust Score
Your Brand could not be fully verified
This error is most likely because the Campaign Registry was unable to fully verify your Brand, and has put you in an "Unverified" state. In this state, your Brand is registered but cannot register Campaigns yet. Twilio will need your help in order to troubleshoot your registration, before you can continue to Campaign registration.
This typically occurs when your United States EIN (or non-US business registration number), company name, or company address provided during registration do not match the verification database.
To proceed, please contact Twilio’s A2P 10DLC Onboarding Operations team via 10dlc-onboarding@twilio.com and include:
- Your Twilio Account SID
- Your United States EIN number, or (if you are a non-US company) business registration number
- Your company name as it appears on business registration or tax forms (e.g. W-9 form)
- Your company address as it appears on business registration or tax forms
Extremely low Trust Score
If your Trust Score is 15, you will only be able to register a Mixed or Marketing Campaign (including Low Volume Mixed). If your Trust Score is 14 or lower, you will not be able to register any Campaigns.
Such a low Trust Score is extremely uncommon, and may be partly the result of data discrepancy in your registration; if this applies to you, reach out to 10dlc-onboarding@twilio.com and include the Account SID corresponding to your A2P registration.
