Can I edit or delete an A2P Brand or Campaign Use Case?

Once an A2P 10DLC Brand or Campaign has been submitted to and approved by the Campaign Registry (TCR), there is currently no way to make updates to that campaign. If you need to make changes to an existing campaign, you’ll need to submit a new Brand or Campaign.

Can I edit or delete an A2P Brand? 

Yes. As of December 16, 2021, if your Brand registration attempt fails and Twilio receives feedback from TCR about the failure reason, you can edit the Brand via the Twilio Console and resubmit. Twilio will cover the cost of retrying Brand registration for 2 additional attempts - a total value of $88.

This Brand editing and resubmission functionality will be extended to the REST API as well in 2022.

If there is an inaccuracy in an A2P Brand that you have already successfully registered, please contact Twilio’s A2P 10DLC Onboarding Operations team via – be sure to include your Twilio Account SID and exactly which details need to be corrected in your Brand registration.

Can I edit or delete an A2P Campaign Use Case?

It is not possible to edit an already-registered A2P Campaign. However, you may delete an A2P Campaign via the Console or API, and register a new one in its place.

A2P Campaigns can be deleted via Console:

  1. Navigate to the Messaging Service page associated with the Campaign.
  2. Click the A2P and Compliance tab.
  3. Click Unregister to unregister the campaign. This will delete it completely from Twilio and TCR, and cannot be undone.
