Once an A2P 10DLC Brand or Campaign has been submitted to and approved by the Campaign Registry (TCR), there is currently no way to make updates to that campaign. If you need to make changes to an existing campaign, you’ll need to submit a new Brand or Campaign.
Can I edit an A2P Brand?
Yes. As of December 16, 2021, if your Brand registration attempt fails and Twilio receives feedback from TCR about the failure reason, you can edit the Brand via the Twilio Console and resubmit. Twilio will cover the cost of retrying Brand registration for 2 additional attempts - a total value of $88.
You can also now use the API to edit and resubmit Brand details, as described here: Using the API to Edit or Submit Brands
If there is an inaccuracy in an A2P Brand that you have already successfully registered, please contact Twilio’s A2P 10DLC Onboarding Operations team via 10dlc-onboarding@twilio.com – be sure to include your Twilio Account SID and exactly which details need to be corrected in your Brand registration.
Can I delete an A2P Brand?
Yes, as of May 25, 2023 you can delete any of your existing Brands, whether they are in a Failed or Registered state. Please note that if this is a registered Brand then any Campaign Use Cases associated with it must be deleted first before you can delete the Brand. Deletion of both Campaign Use Cases and Brands is permanent and cannot be undone, please proceed with caution.
- Navigate to the Brands page in the Twilio Console
- Click the Brand you wish to delete
- Click the Delete button on the page that loads
- Click Delete Brand on the modal that opens up to confirm
If you have existing Campaigns then this deletion request will fail, follow the below steps to delete the Campaign Use Case(s) associated with this Brand first and then try again.
Brands cannot be deleted via API request at this time. If you are an ISV and need to bulk delete Brands please Contact Support for additional assistance.
Can I edit or delete an A2P Campaign Use Case?
It is not possible to edit an already-registered, in-progress, or failed A2P Campaign; however, you may delete (unregister) an A2P Campaign via the Console or API, and register a new one in its place.
A2P Campaigns can be deleted (unregistered) via Console:
- Navigate to the Messaging Service page associated with the Campaign.
- Click the A2P and Compliance tab.
- Click Delete or Unregister to delete/unregister the campaign. This will delete it completely from Twilio and TCR, and cannot be undone.
Campaigns can also be deleted via API request. See the ISV A2P API documentation for a code sample.
