Before we begin

Due to regulatory requirements, there is sometimes a need for documents to be signed by customers to ensure that registrations are done on behalf of customers that have the right to use the Sender ID. This serves to ensure that traffic is coming from legitimate sources and minimizes any potential misuse.

This article outlines the documentation requirements for a pre-registration of your Alphanumeric Sender ID with the network operators of Nicaragua.

Instructions

To register your Alphanumeric Sender ID, the network operators of Nicaragua requires that you provide the following document:

• Registration Form” (the template shared with you by Twilio)

Note: Twilio (via its aggregator) will submit this form to the network operators on your behalf. Your role is to complete the customer-specific sections accurately, sign, and return the form to Twilio.

To get you up and running as quickly as possible, please fill out the documents completely and accurately and provide any other required information. Use the examples provided in this article for guidance. Note that mobile network carriers are very strict about the details!

We highly recommend that you:

• Download the original form to your computer.
• Fill it using a PDF editor or word processor (not in a browser preview).
• Double-check all fields before sending it back.

General completion rules

Once you have downloaded the form, follow these general instructions:

1. Fill in only the customer-specific fields
   • In most versions of the form, Twilio or our aggregator will pre-populate any “Aggregator” field.
   • Do not modify any pre-filled aggregator or operator text unless Twilio explicitly asks you to.
2. Use “N/A” (Not Applicable) where appropriate
   • If a field clearly does not apply to your program (e.g., you are not using Premium SMS, or you are not using keywords), write “N/A”.
   • Do not leave mandatory fields blank.
3. Language and format
   • Fill the form in English.
   • Use a consistent date format, e.g. DD.MM.YYYY (01.10.2025) or DD/MM/YYYY, as shown in the example.
   • Use the same company name across all documents.
4. Signatory
   • The form must be signed by an authorized signatory of your company (e.g., Director, Legal Representative, or someone formally empowered to sign contracts).
5. Letterhead / Stamp
   • Place the form on your official company letterhead where indicated.
   • If you have a company stamp, apply it in the “Stamp” area at the end.
6. Return the completed form
   • Once the form is completed, signed, and stamped:
     • Save it as a PDF or scanned image.
     • Upload it via the Twilio Alphanumeric Sender ID Registration Form or your Twilio support ticket, as instructed.
