How to check the availability of Twilio phone numbers with Help Center Assistant

Objective

Twilio’s Help Center Assistant (HCA) can now provide details of your available phone numbers. This article provides you with details of the phone number tool capabilities, and how to use it for finding phone numbers that meet your specific needs. As such, Help Center Assistant will have the updated information on new and upcoming availability.

 

Procedure 

To search for available phone numbers in Help Center Assistant (HCA), simply ask if a phone number is available that meets your requirements, and it will respond back with what we have to offer. 

  1. Access the Twilio Help Center at help.twilio.com.
  2. From the HCA search field, enter your desired phone number query.
    • Example: What number types are available in [country]?
    • Example: Are there any numbers in [number_status] in [country]?
    • Example: What numbers in [country] support [capability]?
    • Example: How much do phone numbers cost that support [capability] in [country]?
  3. HCA will respond back with the answer to your question.
  4. If HCA identifies a phone number type you would like to purchase, ask for help buying the number, and it will walk you through the steps to purchase, or request help provisioning.
