Why has my Go Room TURN usage passed the 25 GB/month limit?

Although Twilio has a limit of 25 GB/month of TURN usage for Go Rooms, we are not currently enforcing this limit. For now, Go Rooms will continue to work even after they have passed the 25 GB limit, with no additional charges. However, in the rare situation where we detect abuse of the service, we reserve the right to suspend the account.

In 2021, we plan to add a Video Go Room setting to allow developers to opt into TURN usage charges for usage beyond 25 GB.
