A2P 10DLC Campaign Vetting Delays: Twilio cannot approve 10DLC Campaigns ourselves, and must rely on third parties who control our connections to carriers to sign off. These external processes are creating several week delays for our customers. We continue to escalate these issues and are working to reduce delays wherever possible. Further details will be shared in the Campaign Vetting Changes article as they become available.

Documents Required and Instructions to Register Your Alphanumeric Sender ID in Egypt

Before we begin

Due to regulatory requirements, there is sometimes a need for documents to be signed by customers to ensure that registrations are done on behalf of customers that have the right to use the Sender ID. This serves to ensure that traffic is coming from legitimate sources and minimizes any potential misuse.

This article outlines the documentation requirements for a pre-registration in Egypt.

Things to note

The instructions below apply to registrations for Alphanumeric Sender IDs by companies based in Egypt.

Notice: If you are not based in Egypt, these instructions will not apply to you. You will not need to provide any documentation to register your Sender ID.

To register your Alphanumeric Sender ID, the Egyptian network operator Vodafone requires that you provide the following document:

  • SMS Delegation Letter (Only for Domestic)
  • Local Trade/Company registration license (Only for Domestic)
  • Company Tax Card (Only for Domestic)

Notice: If you are not based in Egypt, these instructions will not apply to you. You will not need to provide any documentation to register your Sender ID.
