We know that managing your Twilio phone numbers from different countries can be confusing. Many of the rules and regulations that govern these phone numbers were created prior to Twilio, leading to a lack of clarity, and inconsistencies in how they're applied. To help clarify these issues for customers, we've created a new Regulatory Compliance Report in Console.
View the Regulatory Compliance Report
Access Compliance Report via Console:
- Click the Locale drop-down menu to select a Country you own Twilio phone numbers in.
- Click the Type drop-down menu to select the phone number type (local, mobile, national, toll-free).
- Click Search.
Any phone numbers you own on this project that match the selected country and number type will be displayed:
Not Compliant phone numbers will be displayed with a verification link. Click this link to provide the required documentation. For more details on the requirements for each country and phone number type, please see Phone Number Regulatory Requirements by Country (Twilio Docs).
