Question: What is the Intelligent Discovery Assistant (IDA)?

Answer:

The Intelligent Discovery AI Assistant is an AI-driven assistant enabling users to interact with messaging data using natural language. IDA can:

  • Help you troubleshoot messaging-related issues, including deliverability errors.
  • Can assist with data analysis and dive deeper into your messaging data.
  • Provide recommendations to solve messaging errors and potential issues.

Question: How do I use the Intelligent Discovery Assistant (IDA)?

Answer:

  1. Log into the Twilio Console.
  2. You can find Messaging Insights under the Monitor Tab > Insights > Messaging dropdown sequence.
  3. You may see a banner toward to the top of the Messaging Insights page inviting you to try the Intelligent Discovery Assistant (IDA).
  4. Click that button inside the banner to open IDA.
  5. Ask IDA your Twilio messaging related questions in the IDA widget, or select one of the pre-existing issue type buttons.

If IDA helps answer your inquiry, great! Please leave feedback on what went well and what you think could be improved.

If IDA did not answer your questions fully, please down vote the response and leave feedback. In doing so, you will have the option to continue the inquiry with a live agent to solve your messaging insights question in real time.

Question: How does Intelligent Discovery Assistant work?

IDA uses machine-learning technologies to review messaging insights data and analyze it, providing users with assessments of data and resources based on its findings.

Question: Are there limitations to the Intelligent Discovery Assistant?

Answer:

Yes, there are some known limitations to IDA with respect to the Messaging Insights feature. At this time:

  • IDA cannot search message SIDs by message contents.
  • IDA allows searching for data within time parameters that are currently available in Messaging Insights, such as within the last 7 days up to a maximum of 30 days.
  • Newly created message SIDs will take several hours for IDA to populate the results.
  • IDA can only search message delivery errors, it cannot view registration issues such as rejected campaigns, brands, etc.

 

Question: Does the IDA include voice logs or ability to search voice SIDs?

Answer:

No, at this time IDA is curated for messaging and Messaging Insights scope only. IDA should be able to help with analyzing messaging data and message SIDs. For voice logs and voice data, you can export that from the Twilio Voice section of the console, as seen here.

 

Question: Does IDA include logs from subaccounts?

Answer:

Yes! IDA can retrieve logs from your main and subaccounts. It can also provide an analysis of all subaccounts within the scope of the last 30 days. IDA can be very useful in getting an overview of your subaccounts' performances over the last month.
